What video card do I need to play games like Mass Effect 2 on a good setup?

I stopped playing PC games of recent years and I recently bought a new system. The system is great, but the only thing missing is a large video card. The card that came with an ATI Radeon HD 3200, and simply does not play modern games. Which card should I buy (decently priced) to play modern games like Mass Effect 2, and the future of Star Wars: The Old Republic, the right setting? In places that I mean middle-high quality.
